Artificial Intelligence will possess ability to quickly process complex multivariable data input. The ability to quickly process multivariable data input will allow AI to be more effective than humans at devising rational solutions to problems. An enormous need exist in society for greater computation power to effectively examine multivariable problems related to development and implementation of nanotechnology on a grand social plateau.
A philosophical study of human consciousness and perceptions of reality quickly leads to an examination of political theory. The entire course of human history includes tremendous effort to spin a web of propaganda to influence and control perceptions and believe systems of the masses.
Historically, communism arose as a social response to very real abuses of power by elite wealthy landowners. Will an increase in material abundance within society, as a consequence of new and improved highly efficient manufacturing processes allow new types of abuse of power within free market economies?
It seems logical that the rapid pace of scientific advancement will eventually mandate a serious reexamination of political theory and philosophy. In a capitalistic society how do we know that the system will automatically apply advance nanotechnology to create conditions conducive to the common good of humanity?
Will science and technology be used for good or evil? How do we know science will not enable political factions to become more domineering and controlling, unless we challenge institutions to actually use technology to improve the human condition?

In the great literary work, The Metamorphosis, by Franz Kafka, a historic pattern of transformational change as related to the psychological impact upon human personality is examined as a physical cultural phenomena. In The Metamorphosis, Gregor Samsa, a traveling salesman who leads a boring mundane life is transformed overnight into a gross detestable bug. The movement of the prickly legs of the detestable bug Gregor Samsa becomes is symbolic of discovering new parts of oneself.
Some people are vigorously opposed to creativity and intellectual pursuits. The Biblical book 1Corinthians 13 includes a significant observation, if you deliver your body to be burned, but have not love, than you are nothing. In a highly competitive society some very controlling people feel a need take it upon their selves to test the convictions of others by demanding endurance of the most horrific harsh bitter circumstances imaginable.
In the Book of Job, Satan approached Gods throne and asserted he had the power to make Job, Gods servant, curse and blasphemy God. Perhaps the need of some people to subject other people to horrendous conditions reflects lack of faith. People who unnecessarily subject others to bitter harsh conditions may have an inner need to validate Gods existence by witnessing faith in action.
Many religious people may have very valid fear that dependence of future generations upon future technology may create a lifestyle that is much too comfortable and easy. Many religious people may have very valid fear that a comfortable easy lifestyle may produce future generations of people incapable of true self-sacrifice and love.
It seems logical that an all-knowing omnipotent God already knows that when a person is subjected to harsh unpleasant conditions he or she will cry out. Gods servant Job cried out to God in despair.
So what is the point? God alone is great. The great playwright, William Shakespeare wrote:

Many people who may have good intentions dedicate their entire lives to making decisions for other people.
Job maintained his believe that my Redeemer lives. Job maintained his conviction that a loving merciful God will provide a way for redemption.
In Warner Brothers original Hollywood Blockbuster extravaganza, The Matrix, Keana Reeves portrays Neo, the heroic protagonist. Neo learned to harness his superhuman power by focusing his faith that the life like Matrix existed as a mere computer generated simulation of reality.
The entire span of human history may be described as a transfiguration from a lower energy state to a higher energy state. The transfiguration from a lower energy state to a higher energy state is like an electron within an atom bouncing from a lower orbital to a higher orbital.
During the course of interaction with his fellow human comrades, Neo went from a low energy state characterized by the condition of being completely unable to control the computer-generated matrix to a high-energy state of possessing superhuman power over the matrix.
What if a heroic protagonist willfully and freely rejected the full incredible power of the matrix and moved from a high-energy state, where water can change to wine and people can walk on water, to a low energy state where people unjustly suffer due to the heartless cold nature of other people?
It would be easy for a heroic protagonist to move from a low energy state characterized by great disorder and little control to a high energy state characterized by complete order and control, as in Hollywood Blockbuster, The Matrix. It would be much more difficult sacrifice for a heroic protagonist to move from a high-energy state characterized by complete power and control to a low energy state characterized by vast disorder and little control.
The belief that God can and will make a provision means that people are free to make their own decisions and mistakes. When faced with a moment of truth during which an individual may be given an opportunity to sacrifice his or her life for another, not all people will behave heroically.
Should not people be free to make their own mistakes and live with the consequences of mistakes they as individuals make? As the sign on the door frequently says, No help wanted!. Job tried to tell his 3 friends, no help wanted, while Job lay on his mat in pain. Can an effort to keep doors locked be considered a denial of the provision God has made?
Some religious people may believe that the number 666 means that human civilization should stop and freeze in its tracks. How do we know that the number 666 will not be used by an ever-increasing techno phobic society to prevent individuals from freely choosing to overcome limitations and become better by means of receiving technological enhancement to their natural God given human abilities?
The number 6 is after all a reference to human imperfection. The significant meaningfulness of the number 6 possess an odd uncanny prophetic vision of six sides of the carbon molecule from an age during very little was known about organic chemistry.
Is it possible that in an ever-increasing techno-phobic society a future scenario will occur where people will be branded like cattle and tracked for the purpose of preventing individuals from freely choosing to receive technological enhancements allowing people to exceed human limitations?
Is it possible that an attempt to suppress scientific progress by a future techno-phobic society will actually facilitate an evil application of science and technology? Is it possible an attempt to suppress future technology by a techno phobic society will allow future technology to be used for an evil purpose of exerting complete control over each and every individual?
Perhaps kind-hearted corporate billionaires who pull all the strings actually do exist. Perhaps kind hearted corporate billionaires who pull all the strings will be able to wisely and prudently administer scientific progress in such a way as democracy and individual freedom in a free market economy will continue to flourish far into the future. Sometimes, it is impossible to know what is inside the heart of another person until it is too late?
The future may present a plethora of new choices and options from which an individual can tailor make his own unique individualistic lifestyle. Molecular nanobot computers circulating in the human brain may one day make extra sensory perception and telekinetic control of physical objects commonplace.
An increase in the computation power of the human brain may allow people to experience a greater sense of otherliness like never before. The opposite experience of otherliness is self-absorption into ones own decrepit egotistical sick personality.
One major contributing factor to a decrepit egotistical sick personality is missing information stored in the human brain as past learning. The text of Sacred scripture states, faith comes from hearing. Often we fail to listen. Perhaps one reason we fail to listen is lack of time due to necessity of keeping busy to earn a living.
As stated above, the crux of illogical irrational behavior is missing variables. Perhaps, an increase in computational multivariable processing power of the human brain may allow our most cherished human values to flourish by being nourished, cherished, and nurtured by computer assistance.
The ability to be omnipresent in two or more places at the same time and share real life experiences of several people from a distance via nanobot enhancement of the human brain may potentially improve human character and personality. In other cases, people may abuse the power of technology and forever close their self off from the true meaning of life.
Technological progress may highlight the human heart as the spiritual component of utmost significance. Is it possible the heart of some people may lead to human experience of being technologically trapped in a future material existential hell of earthly existence from which there is no escape? The effect of technology upon each unique individual may ultimately depend upon the human heart.
ABC television recently aired the movie version of Stephen Kings novel, The Diary of Ellen Rimbauer. The Diary of Ellen Rimbauer is about a haunted house dubbed Rose Red. Rose Red acquires a conscious state of existence and begins a constant process of expansion and self-construction. The haunted house, Rose Red begins to snatch up and swallow people.
Stephen Kings novel, Rose Red, thematically provides hidden commentary about consequences of using computer technology to enable inorganic matter to acquire an intelligent conscious state of existence. Stephen Kings novel contains a dire dark foreboding warning that we may be swallowed, as in the gray goo scenario.
It may all depend upon the human heart. An excerpt from a prior freelance article I wrote is very pertinent:
