Mindfulness and Retirement: Time To Play
I have a 17-year-old daughter who is finishing up a year in Vitoria, Brazil. She’s been having the time of her life in a gorgeous coastal city with the beaches of her dreams and the cute guys to match. What’s not to like?
Tara told us that we could buy a beautiful home (”All marble floors!”) on a spectacular beach (”White sand!”) in a number of lovely cities (”Amazing architecture!”) with friendly neighbors (”Dancing all night with people who don’t know you but love you anyway!”)

IT'S TIME TO RETIRE THE 'CHRIST-KILLER' CHARGERolf Gompertz
That charge has been leveled against Jews for two-
thousand years. It has led to horrible, brutal
persecutions, culminating in the Nazi Holocaust and the
death of Six Million Jews.
The Holocaust brought about deep theological soul-
searching within Christianity. It led to a revised view of
the circumstances involving the Trial and Crucifixion of
Jesus, a more appreciative understanding of the Jewish
faith, and a more respectful approach to Jewish-Christian
relations.
Now comes Mel Gibson’s highly controversial film, “The
Passion of the Christ,” (premiere date: Ash Wednesday, Feb.
25, 2004). According to concerned Jewish and
Christian leaders, the film resurrects the Christ-killer
charge with a passion.

How do you spell “Life?”
Answer: Dry Corn Flakes.
Sometimes life is like that, isn’t it? Not that it is
terrible or even terrific.
It’s just goin’ — and that’s the point!
I really don’t know what you call these times. Maybe you
could call them “dry cereal days.”
True confession: I’m not an expert in getting through
these “in between” days. But like you, I try to make
it!
Here are some things we can try together!
