Bought two to replace the Accutire digital tire gauges I’ve been using for the past five years. Making a proper seal with the tire stem had gotten progressively more difficult because the Accutire’s rubberized tip tends to slip forward. The CH gauge is superb, easy to use and does not have that design problem. It’s also easy to find because of all the chrome on its casing :). Worth the investment given gas prices these days…
Customer Review: Accurate and no leaking.
I’ve always used mechanical pressure guages and had to struggle to get a good reading without letting a significant amount of air out of the tire. This gauge seals so well I had to check the gauge just to confirm that I got it on the stem. No leaks, no hissing, and a solid readout within 0.5 lbs pressure.
A great tool and an even better gift.
